Kid’s Video Fun – Summer camp

Kids become the stars of their own live-stream TV show!

On day one, kids come together to brainstorm awesome video sketches. Then, they spend the week perfecting their story, sets, costumes, and props. On the last day, their productions go live on YouTube for family and friends to enjoy.

Where: Arts Hub Brockville. St John’s United Church 32 Park St. Brockville

When: July 28 to August 1. 9:00-4:00

Here's a glimpse of what to expect:

Monday:

We dive into ideas and concepts. The little geniuses will create a commercial and share any pre-conceived ideas. They'll learn about narration styles, character building, and elements of story creation.

Tuesday:

It's all about visualization and design. Kids will share their ideas for the looks and styles of scenes, including set design, costuming, colors, and style. We'll also work on story ideas.

Wednesday:

Time to build! We'll start working on sets, costumes, characters, and blocking. There will still be room for more story ideas.

Thursday:

Production Day continues with more building and creative tweaking.

Friday:

Dress rehearsal and the big event—going live with a live-stream video to share with family and friends.

Children are encouraged to bring any ideas, scripts, or characters they want to include in the Friday live-stream. We can't wait to see their creativity in action!
